# BF.MEXISTS

> Check several items against a Bloom filter in one call.

BF.MEXISTS key item [item ...]
```

`BF.MEXISTS` works like [BF.EXISTS](https://docs.hotkv.com/commands/bf-exists/index.md) for several items
at once. Each `0` is certain (never added); each `1` means probably added.

## Return value

An array with one element per item:

| Element | RESP2 | RESP3 |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Item may be present | Integer `1` | Boolean true |
| Item not present | Integer `0` | Boolean false |

If the key does not exist, or holds another type, every element is `0`.

## Examples

127.0.0.1:6379> BF.MADD visitors alice carol
1) (integer) 1
2) (integer) 1
127.0.0.1:6379> BF.MEXISTS visitors alice bob carol
1) (integer) 1
2) (integer) 0
3) (integer) 1
```

## Compatibility

Same as `BF.MEXISTS` in RedisBloom for Bloom filter keys and missing keys.
