# LICENSE.CHECK

> Check whether one feature is enabled by this server's license.

`LICENSE.CHECK` answers `1` if the license in force enables the feature and
`0` if not (also `0` when no license is in force). Scripts and health checks
can use it before they rely on an enterprise feature.

The command takes its own short feature names, which differ from the names
in [LICENSE.INFO](https://docs.hotkv.com/commands/license-info/index.md) and the `NOLICENSE` errors. Names
are not case sensitive.

The other licensed modules are checked the same way. `LICENSE.INFO` shows
which features your license enables.
