# RERANK.DEL

> Delete one entry from a rerank cache namespace.

The rerank cache stores cross-encoder rerank scores for a query and document pair in a retrieval pipeline, so a repeated pair does not have to be scored again. `RERANK.DEL` removes the entry for `key`. The namespace and
its other entries are not affected.

## Return value

Errors:

- `ERR wrong number of arguments for 'rerank.del' command` if the argument count is wrong.
- `NOLICENSE rerank-cache requires a HotKV license. Contact sales@hotkv.com` if your license does not include the `rerank-cache` feature.

## Examples

## Compatibility

HotKV-only command. Redis and Valkey have no equivalent.
