# SLOWLOG RESET

`SLOWLOG RESET` deletes every entry in the slow log. Entry ids are not
reset: the next entry logged gets the next id, so tools that track the last
id they read do not miss or repeat entries.

## Return value

Simple string `OK` in RESP2 and RESP3.

## Examples

```
127.0.0.1:6379> SLOWLOG RESET
OK
127.0.0.1:6379> SLOWLOG LEN
(integer) 0
```

## Compatibility

Same as Redis 7 and Valkey 8.
