# XINFO

> Inspect streams, their consumer groups and their consumers.

`XINFO` is a container for the commands that report on a stream and its
consumer groups.

## Subcommands

| Subcommand | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| [XINFO STREAM](https://docs.hotkv.com/commands/xinfo-stream/index.md) | A stream's length, IDs and first and last entries; with `FULL`, its entries and groups in detail. |
| [XINFO GROUPS](https://docs.hotkv.com/commands/xinfo-groups/index.md) | The stream's consumer groups. |
| [XINFO CONSUMERS](https://docs.hotkv.com/commands/xinfo-consumers/index.md) | The consumers of one group. |
| `XINFO HELP` | List the subcommands. |

An unknown subcommand replies
`ERR unknown subcommand 'name'. Try XINFO HELP.` Every subcommand replies
`ERR no such key` when the stream does not exist.

## Examples

127.0.0.1:6379> XINFO GROUPS nosuchstream
(error) ERR no such key
```

## Compatibility

Same subcommands as Redis 7 and Valkey 8.
