Agent memory gives AI agents four kinds of memory. Working memory is a scratchpad of key and value pairs for a task in progress, grouped by session. AMEM.WORK.GET returns the value of key in the session.

A value you stored as an empty string reads back as an empty string, not as nil.

Errors:

  • ERR wrong number of arguments for 'amem.work.get' command if the argument count is wrong.
  • NOLICENSE agent-memory requires a HotKV license. Contact sales@hotkv.com if your license does not include the agent-memory feature.
